Getting Started

01What is Build Discord Bots?

Build Discord Bots is a no-code platform that lets you create, customize, and deploy powerful Discord bots without any programming knowledge. Choose from 45 feature modules, configure them through our web dashboard, and deploy your bot with a single click. Whether you run a gaming community, business workspace, or educational server, our bots help automate tasks and engage your members.

02How do I create my first bot?

Sign up for a free account, go to the Dashboard, click "Create Bot", enter your bot's name and Discord bot token, and click Create. Your bot will be ready to start in seconds. Then just toggle on the modules you want and hit Start.

03How do I get a Discord bot token?

Visit the Discord Developer Portal (discord.com/developers), create a New Application, go to the Bot tab, click "Add Bot", then copy the token. Make sure to enable the required intents (Message Content, Server Members, Presence) for full functionality.

04Do I need coding experience?

No! Build Discord Bots is designed for everyone. All features are configured through our visual web dashboard — no programming, terminal commands, or technical knowledge required.

05Is this only for gaming communities?

Not at all! Discord is used by businesses, educational institutions, content creators, nonprofits, and more. Our bots are perfect for any Discord server — automate customer support with tickets, manage team workflows, run community engagement, moderate professional spaces, and more. Many businesses switching from Microsoft Teams or Slack to Discord use our bots to streamline operations.

06How quickly can I get my bot online?

Most users have their bot online within 5 minutes of signing up. Create an account, add your bot token, toggle on your desired modules, and click Start. That's it!

Bot Management

01How many bots can I run?

The Free plan includes 1 bot and Pro includes up to 3 bots running simultaneously. Each bot is fully independent with its own modules and configuration.

02Where are my bots hosted?

All bots are hosted on our cloud infrastructure. Each bot runs in an isolated Docker container for security and reliability. We handle all server management, uptime monitoring, and automatic restarts.

03What happens if my bot crashes?

Our system monitors all bots and automatically restarts them if they crash or become unresponsive. You'll receive a notification about the restart, and in most cases your bot will be back online within seconds.

04Can I start and stop my bot on demand?

Yes! You have full control over your bot from the dashboard. Start, stop, and restart your bot with a single click. Your configuration is always saved even when the bot is stopped.

Modules & Features

01What modules are available?

We offer 45 modules across moderation, community, utility, music, AI, and automation. Core modules include Moderation, Logging, Welcome, Tickets, Polls, Music, Statistics, Reminders, Tools, Economy, Leveling, Giveaways, Starboard, Suggestions, Role Management, Announcements, Rules, Server Builder, Cortex AI, and the AI Module Builder.

02Can I enable and disable modules individually?

Absolutely! Every module is independently toggleable. Enable only what your server needs. You can also configure each module's settings individually — channels, permissions, messages, and behavior.

03What is Cortex AI?

Cortex AI is our flagship AI server assistant for Pro users. It handles chat, image generation, vision, text-to-speech, web search, translation, and workflow help directly inside Discord.

04What is the AI Module Builder?

Describe the commands and behavior you need, and the AI Module Builder generates a custom module for you to review, refine, and test. The AI Module Builder is part of Pro: Pro includes 50 monthly AI credits and runs custom modules on your bots. New Free accounts do not include builder credits or sessions.

05How many custom commands can I create?

Free includes 10 custom commands and Pro includes 200. You can use them for quick replies, embeds, onboarding flows, FAQs, and server-specific automation.

Billing & Subscriptions

01Is there really a free plan?

Yes. The free plan includes 1 bot with moderation, welcome messages, tickets, music, polls, statistics channels, reminders, and other core modules. No credit card required.

02How much does Pro cost?

Pro costs $9.99/month or $99.90/year. It includes 3 hosted bots, every stock module, 50 monthly AI credits for generation and refinement, unlimited saved custom modules, and 30 days of logs. Credit use varies by request.

03Can I get Pro without a subscription?

Pro is a recurring PayPal subscription. One-time credit packs add AI-builder credits; they do not purchase Pro.

04My card can't start a subscription — can I still get Pro?

If a card is declined for a subscription, check the funding methods offered in PayPal. A linked bank account or PayPal balance may be available. Availability and approval depend on PayPal, your account, and your payment provider.

05Can I change plans at any time?

You can subscribe or cancel from your subscription page. Pro activates after PayPal confirms the subscription. Cancellation stops future renewals; Pro stays until the end of the period you paid for. The confirmation shows your Pro end date. Without a payment or a verifiable paid period end, the account returns to Free on cancellation.

06What payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayPal. Inside PayPal's checkout you can pay from your PayPal balance, a linked bank account, or a credit/debit card. All transactions are encrypted and PCI-compliant.

Security & Privacy

01Is my bot token secure?

Absolutely. Bot tokens are encrypted using AES-256 encryption at rest and are never stored in plaintext. Tokens are only decrypted in memory when starting your bot and are injected securely via environment variables.

02How are bots isolated from each other?

Each bot runs in its own isolated Docker container with dedicated resources. Bots cannot access each other's data, tokens, or configurations. Communication between the platform and bot containers happens over an encrypted VPN tunnel.

03Do you store my Discord server data?

We only store the configuration data needed to run your bot modules (settings, custom commands, economy balances, etc.). We do not permanently store message content. Logs are retained according to your plan's retention period and then automatically deleted.

Marketplace & Referrals

01What is the Module Marketplace?

The Module Marketplace is where you can browse, purchase, and install community-created bot modules. Other users can build custom modules and sell them for real money.

02Can I sell modules on the Marketplace?

Marketplace publishing is part of Pro. Pro members can build custom modules and submit them for review; approved modules can be listed in the Marketplace. Review the current seller terms and payout options in your dashboard.

03How does the referral program work?

Share your unique referral link with others. When someone signs up and purchases a subscription through your link, you earn 25% recurring commission for as long as they remain subscribed. There are no caps or expiration dates.
