A Discord server setup bot that builds it all in one click
A well-structured server takes an hour of clicking: categories, channels, roles, and permissions in the right order. The Server Builder module creates a complete server structure from one of its numbered templates, including gaming, business, and community layouts.
Start freeStart free. Pro is $9.99/month.
Use the template list and preview commands to inspect the available layouts, then choose a template number to build it. Server Builder is included in Pro ($9.99/mo — 3 bots, all 44 modules).
What you get
Templates for whole servers
Choose a built-in template to create its categories, channels, and roles.
Template list
View the numbered templates available to the module before choosing one.
Template preview
Inspect a template's structure with its numbered preview command.
What it needs
- The bot needs View Channel, Send Messages and Embed Links to show command replies. It uses Message Content Intent for prefix commands.
- The bot needs Manage Roles and Manage Channels to create a template’s roles, categories and channels. People using the Server Builder commands need Administrator.
Setting it up
- Open your bot’s Modules tab and enable Server Builder. This module has no per-module dashboard settings; its built-in templates are chosen in Discord.
- Run !templates to see the numbered choices, then run !previewtemplate with a template number from 1 through 5 to inspect its roles and channel layout.
- Run !buildserver with the number you chose, such as !buildserver 1. The bot creates the template’s roles first, then its categories and channels.
Example
Previewing template 1 produces a Gaming Community embed with its roles and category breakdown; running !buildserver 1 then reports the number of roles, categories and channels it created.
Limits and troubleshooting
Limits
- There are five built-in templates, numbered 1 through 5. A template application is limited to 50 channels (categories included) and 20 roles; the stock templates fit within those caps.
- A guild must wait five minutes between template applications. The bot spaces creation requests 250 milliseconds apart and stops early if Discord rate-limits the build.
If it doesn’t work
- The command is rejected: use a template number from 1 through 5, and make sure the person running it has Administrator.
- Nothing is created: give the bot Manage Roles and Manage Channels, and make sure its role is allowed to create the roles and channels in that server.
- The build stops partway through: Discord rate-limited it. The items already created remain; wait a few minutes before retrying.

Frequently asked questions
How fast can it build a server?
The build itself creates the selected template's structure after you run !buildserver with its number. Use !templates and !previewtemplate first to choose a layout.
Is the server setup bot free to try?
Server Builder is a Pro module ($9.99/mo — 3 bots, all 44 modules).
Do I need to code templates?
No. Templates ship with the module, and you can inspect them with !templates and !previewtemplate. The bot is generated and hosted by the platform — you never touch code or config files.
